Game Grotto is an independently run video game development studio run by Donovan and Meagan Gates, also known as Don and Meg. We are completely self published (known by some as "indie") which means all of the labor and costs of running our studio come from our pockets, our video game sales, our merchandise sales, and generous contributions from gamers like you.

Since starting our video game studio in 2015, we have worked tirelessly to compete in ever-changing market of video game development striving to create unique and high-quality gaming experiences an ambition that both Don and Meg have nurtured from a young age.

We were inspired by the great fundamentals of classic video games, and we strive to reach similar high caliber in the gameplay, story telling, graphics, and overall player experience. We make unique video games that can be enjoyed by players young and old, while telling stories that teach good life-lessons, teamwork, and inspire imagination.

Our goal is to expand Game Grotto into a studio capable of employing game developers of all experience levels. It may seem like a long way to achieve this goal, but we are determined to make Game Grotto a company that you may one day want to work for, making your own video game dreams come to life.
